  1. Can you create a breakthrough technology?
  2. Is it the right time?
  3. Are you starting with a big share of a small segment/market?
  4. Do you have the right team?
  5. Do you have a way to deliver the product?
  6. Would your market position be defensible 10 to 20 years from now?
  7. Have you identified a unique opportunity that others don't see?
