Mentor Meeting Assignment: Final Draft-including peer revisions-(Due by Mentor Meeting)
This week you are bringing your FINAL draft of your research paper to your mentor meeting!

- Look at the rubric and directions for the research paper. Think of them like a checklist - look at your paper. Do you have everything the directions and rubric tell you that you need? Make changes if anything is missing.
- Read your paper out loud to yourself. Yes, really. Notice things that sounds funny or don't make sense - this means you need to change something!
- Get someone to peer review your paper! This is your schoolwork assignment for the week.
- Accept suggestions from your peer and make any changes you think will improve your paper
- Check your reference page. Does your reference page EXACTLY match the directions for APA style reference page? Here's an example. Details matter!
- Check your in-text citations. Did you cite EVERYTHING that came from your research? Do your citations match their entry on the reference page? Did you write your in-text citations correctly? Here's an example.
